As Nigerians fervently pray for a turnaround in the Country’s economy, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, says the people should brace up more economic hardship in 2025 , prophesying that it will be a more bitting year for Nigeria.
Primate Ayodele in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, declared that things will become harder, adding that the government will continue to tax citizens with increments in tariffs for basic things.
The Prophet further pointed out that the Nigerian system will collapse if the government doesn’t do the right thing, revealing that the rich will start becoming scared to move around as people will be angry and ready to attack anyone including governors and politicians.
According to Ayodele: ‘’The fact remains that from now till February, things will be harder than before. What is the government doing?
“They refuse to listen to simple instructions and the more the government fails to listen, the more difficult things will be.
‘’Nigeria hasn’t seen anything yet because there is confusion in the economic realm which the government failed to handle. There will still be more increment in fuel prices despite the presence of the Dangote refinery.
“By next year, there will be an increase in electricity and telecommunication tariffs. This government will inflict more hardship on the people with taxes.’’
‘’The Nigerian system will collapse if the government doesn’t do the right thing, a lot will happen before 2027, don’t let democracy lead to bitterness.
Speaking further, he called on the Nigerian government to act before this gets out of hand.
Primate Ayodele however enjoined Nigerians to pray not to experience a famine situation because the minimum wage will not be enough to do anything, declaring that it would get to a stage where states will run into debt.
“The increment in minimum wage will not mean anything for Nigerians, from next year, you will see N200 as N5 because it will have no value again. Even governors will be complaining, they will run into debt despite federal allocation. States will be in total confusion, some will borrow money till they are unable to borrow again,” he started.
The Primate advised the government not to see his prophecy as doom but the truth because they had failed to listen to simple instructions.
According to him, the situation in Nigeria does not need much prayers but urgent and precise actions.
