It will be excitement galore as over six hundred young boxers gather this Monday at Parliament Hall PPSMB Enugu starting from one o’clock clock in the afternoon for the commencement of the 7th edition of Speaker
Enugu State House of Assembly grassroots boxing talent hunt competition.
According to the Co ordinator of the Action Committee on Sports literacy and Nigeria Ex International Boxer, Mazi Okechukwu Okoronkwo, the Boxers that arrived since 19th June 2024 at Enugu State Sports Council, No 7 Nkponkiti Road Enugu for selection of the finalists are in high spirits.
The Finals of the competition comes up Wednesday, 26th June 2024 at Parliament Hall PPSMB.
The competition is for both males and females of secondary schools in Enugu state and it is expected that future boxers that will make Nigeria and Africa proud could emerge from the fiesta.
