Following the expiration of the tenure of the Abia State Executive Committee, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has, (NEC), pursuant to Section 29(2)(b) of the Constitution of the PDP (as amended in 2017) approved the composition of Abia State Caretaker Committee to run the affairs ot the party for a period not exceeding 90 days (3 months), or till a new Executive Committee is elected.
A release endorsed by Hon. Debo Ologunagba, National Publicity Secretary of the party, names members of the Abia State PDP Caretaker Committee to include Alwell Asiforo Okere who is retained as Chairman, Kenneth Madubike, Secretary and Innocent Ezekiel who is to serve as the Administrative Secretary.
Others members are Obinna Nwachukwu, Christy Emenike , Ben Okezie Chijioke Nkaru , Victor Ebere, Chukuwudi Ezebuiro , Love Onina and Nduka Nwaorisara.
The release charges all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of the Party in Abia State to remain united and continue to wor together for the progress of the Party.
