The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process, Dr Oluebube Chukwu says the emergence of Governor Alex Otti as the Governor of the state has birthed new Abia of the peoples’dream where development and patriotic leadership are the guiding principles.
Speaking with newsmen in Umuahia, during the commissioning of the – six – lane Abia Tower – Ossah – Okpara Square road project, Dr Chukwu, expressed happiness that the Governor has delivered on his promises to the people by changing the old narratives and making the state within the last one year, a construction hub to the delight of all.
He applauded the Governor for his administrative ingenuity and Midas touch in various sectors of Abia economy, stating that such is currently being replicated in all the local government areas, which is in line with the wishes and aspirations of the founding fathers of the state.
While pointing out that Umunneochi Local Government Area, which used to be in the news for the wrong reasons as a result of insecurity occasioned by the activities of kidnappers, has changed for good through operation crush joint security team initiated by the present administration and urged all to sustain their support for him.
Dr Chukwu who congratulated the Governor, Dr Alex Otti, his Deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, and the Labour Party family, on the occasion of their one year in office, prayed God to continue strengthening and upholding the Governor as he progresses in his ground breaking achievements for the common good of all Abians.
