The senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu has given kudos to Governor Alex Chioma Otti for fulfilling his promise of donating a brand new 32-seater Coaster Bus to Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia.
Dr. Chukwu while reacting to the development, said the gesture has once again demonstrated his commitment to supporting sports development in Abia State, adding that it marks a significant step in alleviating the transportation challenges that have plagued the club.
He further expressed deep gratitude to Governor Otti for his generosity and unwavering support for the club, emphasizing that the Governor’s timely intervention would also serve as a morale booster for the players and coaching staff.
According to him, keeping to his words underscores the present administration’s dedication to uplifting local sporting teams and ensuring they have the necessary resources to excel.
Recall, the donation follows a pledge made by Governor Otti during a reception he organized at the Governor’s country home in Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa, for the Abia Warriors after they emerged as runners up in the 2024 President Federation Cup event. underscored the administration’s dedication to uplifting local sports teams and ensuring they have the necessary resources to excel.
