The Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, Dr Oluebube Chukwu says that the renovation of workers’ offices, prompt payment of salaries among other goodies by the current Abia State Government demonstrates the Governor Alex Otti’s dedication to improving workers’ lives and creating a better work-life balance.
Speaking with Newsmen in Umuahia, Dr. Chukwu noted that the efforts have fostered a positive and supportive work environment, which empowers workers to thrive and contribute to the state’s prosperity.
He expressed delight that the Governor has made good his campaign promises to boost workers’ welfare, transform government offices as most offices are being renovated to provide a comfortable environment for workers.
The Due Process Bureau Head therefore who commended Governor Otti for his giant strides in infrastructural development across the state, described the governor’s initiatives as transformative and a confirmation to his dedication to improving the lives of the people and as well, workers’ welfare.
Dr Chukwu while pointing at the ongoing rehabilitation of critical road networks, upgrades of healthcare facilities, the retrofitting of the old workers’ secretariat,as well as, the restructuring of offices across agencies and parastatals, observed that the Governor has shown that good governance is achievable in Abia.
He further expressed joy that the Dr. Otti led administration has equally introduced modern educational infrastructure,noting that these developments have not only boosted the state’s economy, but have also improved access to essential services for residents.
“Governor Otti’s vision and commitment to progress are commendable. His administration has shown a clear understanding of the challenges facing the state and has taken bold steps to address them. His impact is visible and commendable,” Dr Chukwu remarked.
He also lauded praised the governor’s inclusive approach, which prioritizes grassroots participation in decision-making processes, arguing that this method has ensured that projects are tailored to meet the actual needs of communities.
