The Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, Dr Oluebube Chukwu, has given thumbs up to
Governor Alex Otti for his visionary leadership that has led to improving the economy and infrastructural base of the State.
Dr Chukwu who was reacting to the recent partnership deal with COSCHARIS to introduce electric vehicles , EVs for intra-city and inter- State transport noted that the move is a prove of Governor Otti’s commitment to innovation and sustainable progress.
He pointed out that the new partnership and the Governor’s efforts in power generation will position Abia as a leader in clean energy and modern transportation.
Dr Chukwu who observed that the deal will bring about an efficient transport system in Aba, Ohafia and Umuahia, added that it would create jobs, attract investment, and improve the quality of life of Abians.
“This groundbreaking initiative not only internalizes Governor Otti’s visionary leadership but also sets a precedent for other states to follow in embracing renewable energy and modern technology,” he pointed out.
Recall, in his speech at a business meeting with the Founder and CEO of COSCHARIS Group, Dr. Cosmas Maduka Abia Governor, Dr Alex, Otti emphasized the importance of transitioning to renewable energy, when said, “Our decision to go electric was well thought out. Some European countries are already phasing out fossil fuel vehicles, and while Nigeria has a longer timeline, it’s inevitable. Electric vehicles are the future.”
Dr. Cosmas Maduka had on his own lauded Governor Otti’s innovative approach and assured him of COSCHARIS Group’s commitment to the project.
“Electric vehicles are the future, and this initiative by Governor Otti is groundbreaking. Abia is setting the pace for other states,” he observed.
