In its resolve to assist the present administration in Abia State led by Dr Alex Otti to achieve a cleaner and healthier environment, the Oluebube A. Chukwu foundation mobilized many indigenes of Nneato in Umunneochi LGA this Saturday, November 30th, 2024 to another impactful sanitation exercise at the Eke Eziama Market.
The initiative which brought together community members, armed with cleanings tools including: cutlasses, brooms, and rakes, brought about their renewed commitment towards creating a cleaner and safer environment for all.
Speaking during the sanitation exercise, the Coordinator of the foundation in the area, Mr. Raymond Ezechi commended the volunteers for their unwavering dedication to the exercise and encouraged the people to join the movement which emphasizes tranformative change.
While emphasizing that with collective effort, a thriving and healthier community could be achieved, he encouraged the group not to grow weary in their mission, pointing out that their consistent efforts are already making a tangible difference.
Hanto Daily News Reporter that monitored the exercise says that sanitation exercise at Eke Eziama Market is a continued testament to the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community development as well as inspire hope, foster unity, and champion the collective well-being of the Umunneochi community.
The foundation has continuously mobilized the people of Umunneochi to participate actively in the monthly sanitation exercises for sometime now.
