The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF) has distributed essential items including notebooks, school bags, pens, and other educational materials to over 3,800 students of some schools in Umunneochi Local Government Area.
The benefiting schools are: Leru Secondary School, Mbala Community Secondary School, and Ezingodo Community Primary School.
The efforts which has ensured that the foundation successfully concluded a significant back-to-school outreach in Umunneochi Local Government Area, Abia State is aimed at ensuring the proper equipping of students for the current school year.
The foundation however observed that despite this impactful support, schools are still facing severe challenges, including deteriorating buildings and a lack of basic infrastructure, a situation that is hindering learning of these young students.
To this end, the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation will be launching a fundraising campaign to rebuild these schools and improve their facilities.
According to the foundation, creating a more conducive learning environment will guarantee these children a brighter future and the quality education they deserve.
