In the second week of April 2024, while prophesying during his morning prayer programme that attracts thousands of adherents known as prophetic hour of prayer, PHP, the spiritual Director Canaan land Counselling centre, a.k.a E – Dey – Work ministry, Rev Fr Dr Magnus Ebere, SDV, revealed of a family that lost their bread winner and advised such a family or anyone that knows them to come for prayers at the Adoration ground at Umuoma Onicha, Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State.
The family of late James Madu of Umuoda Nguru, Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo State, which has none of them belonging to the counselling centre got the information, believed that it was theirs and visited the centre on the 24th April for prayers from the Prophet where their spokesperson, Eugene Madu revealed that their brother who works with a bank just died mysteriously.
Narrating their ordeal before the congregation, the family accompanied by their mother made public that their late brother was their Iroko tree whose death was a devastating blow to their survival.
Having heard from this family that confirmed his accurate prophecy and observing that the family needed financial assistance to help them in their present situation, Fr Ebere known as Fr E – Dey – Work, donated and handed over to them one hundred thousand naira as well as prayed against such a death in their family.
He declared that the family will henceforth begin to experience greater turnaround and the rising of another Star that will make the entire family shine again.
The action which attracted applause form Members saw the congregation making more financial contributions, consequently raising substantial amount for the Madu family.
In fulfilment of his earlier prophecy of divine blessings locating the family, an unexpected financial assistance came from an Adorer residing in the United States who had watched the raising of funds for this family during adoration.
Announcing the gesture before the congregation, Fr E – Dey – Work disclosed that this adherent sent in a total of seven hundred and thirty thousand naira, a package that was handed over to them on Wednesday, 12/06/24 during the usual weekly adoration.
Speaking while handing over the donation to the family, the Spiritual Director urged Christians to learn to donate for the work of charity, pointing out that the most effective means of communicating with God is through helping the poor and the needy.
Fr E – Dey – Work restated his resolve to continue assisting the poor and needy, stressing that it through such that a true Christian is identified.
