The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has announced the arrest of Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, at the Seme border while attempting to leave the country.
In a release issued by Deputy Comptroller Immigration,DCI, KT Udo, the Service Public Relations Officer, the immigration authorities stated that Bobrisky is a person of interest in recent issues of public concern and is currently undergoing interrogation.
“In keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju otherwise known as Bobrisky at the Seme Border over an attempt to Exit the Country.”
“The Service wishes to inform the public that OKUNEYE IDRIS is a person of interest over recent issues of public concern. He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate Authorities for further action.”

Country’s Borders,” the statement concluded.
Recall, Bobrisky has been embroiled in an investigation by the House of Representatives, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and the NIS over bribery allegations following a leaked audio recording by social media influencer Martins Ortse (VeryDarkMan).
Ortse had alleged that Bobrisky paid EFCC officials N15 million to drop money laundering charges, an allegation Bobrisky has denied.
