Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti says he is not bothered by the recent defection of some PDP stalwarts to All Progressives Congress, APC.
Answering a question during his monthly Media chat, Governor Otti noted that it was too early to discuss issues relating to elections.
The Governor made it clear that his desire for now is to provide the people with basic infrastructure and restated his determination not to be distracted by the antics of the opposition.
He however pointed out that the Labour party has also been continuously harvesting large numbers of defectors from other parties and expressed confidence that the people are solidly behind his administration.
According to him, what matters is the feeling of the majority and not the defection of a few politicians.
It would be recalled that the immediate past speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Orji was among top PDP stakeholders that left the umbrella party for the broom.
