The deputy majority leader of the State House of Assembly and Member representing Umunneochi Chief Mathias Ume has appreciated the people for their resilience despite the socio-economic challenges of the past year.
Chief Ume in his New Year message to the people of Umunneochi State Constituency restated his avowed determination and commitment to building on the foundation of progress laid in the past year through lawmaking and other constituency expectations in line with the vision and aspirations of Governor Alex Otti particularly as it concerns security, education, healthcare infrastructure, agriculture and general welfare of the people.
He noted that the collective strength defined Umunneochi state constituency throughout the challenges of the past year and described the state 2025 budget recently signed into law by the Governor as a fiscal roadmap that will greatly and effectively help the state to consolidate on the numerous gains recorded in the last fiscal year in various critical sectors of governance .
The Lawmaker called for unity and collaboration among the citizens and expressed gratitude for the people’s support and cooperation throughout the past year.
Mr Umeh further prayed for the new year to bring joy, peace, and prosperity to each and every household in Umunneochi and the state in general.
