Barely few hours after laying the foundation stone of the construction of a building at Isuikwuato General Hospital on Saturday, 17/08/2024, the Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Control, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah has also flagged off the Construction of a Cottage Hospital at Umuchieze in Umunneochi LGA.
Speaking at the event, Hon Ogah made it clear that the era of marginalizing any part of the constituency in terms of distribution of social amenities and other goodies was over and disclosed that the Hospital will be maximally equipped.
He reiterated his desire to leave indelible footprints on the sands of time through proper representation and also making himself available for discussions on the development of the federal constituency.
The National Assembly Member thanked his Constituents for their unflinching support and promised to work assiduously and bring the democracy dividends to the people.
In her speech, the Special Adviser to Governor on Health, Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Anazodo thanked Hon. Ogah for attracting this laudable project for the people of Umunneochi LGA and promised that the present administration in Abia State will support this initiative.
The Deputy Mayor of Umunneochi LGA, Hon. Njoku Augustine and former Leader of Umunneochi Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Oguejiofor Okoli in their separate remarks lauded the federal lawmaker for this great gesture for Ndi Umunneochi LGA and promised to give their support to the project.
Contributing, the representative of Hypo Verein Integrated Limited, the contractor handling the project, assured that the project will be completed in record time.
