Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has sacked the Commissioner for Special Duties, Dr Bassey E. Okon.
A release endorsed by the Secretary to Akwa Ibom State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah says the decision is in line with the Governor’s desire to reposition his administration.
The release directs the former Commissioner to hand over to the Permanent Secretary, adding that the ministry will for now be supervised by the Secretary to the State Government.
It further thanks the former Commissioner for his services to the State and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
