The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has described the allegations of masterminding a plot to unseat Muhammadu Sanusi II as the Emir of Kano as unfounded and false.
In a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment, Chief Oliver Okpala, Ganduje said the claims were preposterous and absurd.
The former Kano State Governor made it clear that he has no hand in the alleged plot, arguing that he is only the APC National Chairman and not the Governor or speaker of the state house of assembly that could initiate such moves.
“It is laughable that Dr. Ganduje who has left office as Governor for some years now would be accused of masterminding a fresh plot to remove or enthrone an Emir.
According to a social media publication Ganduje is not only alleged to be plotting to remove Emir Sanusi, they said he is also plotting to advise Alhaji Ado Bayero to abdicate his throne as Emir of Kano for peace to reign.
