The spiritual Director Canaanland Counselling Centre, popularly known as E- Dey – Work Ministry, Rev. Fr. Dr. Magnus Ebere, SDV, on Wednesday 28/08/24 continued his philanthropic gestures towards lifting the needy and the oppressed as he formally handed over a two – bedroom – flat accommodation he secured for a bewitched Adorer, Francis Onwukwe Oduanyanwu, from Umualum , Umunakanu Owerre autonomous community, Ehime Mbano LGA, Imo State.
Francis who resides in a remote village near Egbu Owerri is ironically a property agent who could not provide himself a good accommodation, though a bachelor in his late fifties.
It was in the effort to rescue this Adorer that Fr. E – Dey – Work pledged to secure him a comfortable accommodation and to get him a wife of his choice and gladly, that of shelter was fulfilled by securing a two – bedroom – apartment along MCC road, Owerri.
Performing the handover ceremony, Rev. Fr. Ebere thanked God for the opportunity granted him to serve mankind and assured the beneficiary that no evil power will overwhelm him again in life.
The outspoken priest who was accompanied by the President Men of Honour International of the Centre, Sir Reginald Odunze and other notable Adorers reminded Christians of the need to stand firm in their faith in order to face challenges from the evil ones.
Recall, luck fell on Francis Oduanyanwu who came for adoration as usual at the Canaanland Counselling Centre, Umuoma Onicha, Ezinihitte, Mbaise, Imo State on Wednesday, 24/07/24, the Covenant Day of Joy, which witnessed the liberation of people under all forms of bondage as he was located by the prophet of God.
Prophesying after preaching on the theme, “Joyful News, the will of God for you”, the Spiritual Director, Canaanland Counselling Centre, Rev. Fr. Dr. Magnus Ebere, SDV, mentioned and persistently called the name Oduanyanwu before adding Francis.
The prophet of God kept shuddering and lamenting on how the person has been bewitched and rendered useless by unseen forces and this led to the emergence of a man likely to be in his late fifties saying, Father I am the one.
He said, “my name is Francis Onwukwe Oduanyanwu, from Umualum, Umunakanu Owerre autonomous community, Ehime Mbano LGA, Imo State and I reside in Owerri and what you have said is true about my life”.
Francis who answered in affirmative while responding to Fr. Ebere’s revelation that he has no famiy of his own, publicly pointed accusing fingers on a relative who had vowed that he will forever be wallowing in poverty, lamenting that nothing is working in his life.
Speaking with Hanto Daily News, a relative of Francis who resides in Umuahia, Abia State, Nze Sampson Iwuagwu who confirmed the man’s pitiable situation for decades now, thanked God and the Prophet for delivering the man he said was his Elder Kinsman, stressing that the man has been tortured enough by the wicked forces.
