The Federal Government has vowed to deal decisively with all persons implicated in the alleged bribery case of popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky.
The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who made the declaration while briefing Newsmen as part of activities marking his one year in office, this Friday in Abuja, disclosed that among four senior officers of Nigeria Correctional Service, NCoS, suspended, two were connected to the Bobrisky case.
He appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the government as it concludes the investigation, assuring that nobody will be protected.
“We will not spare anybody no matter how highly placed. Let’s be patient. Investigation is on but let’s be assured that nobody will be shielded and nobody will be protected,” the Minister assured.
He assured that the committee constituted to investigate the corruption in NCoS would do good work, as it comprises people of integrity.
