The constitution of Umunneochi Constituency Project Committee (UCPC) by the Member representing Umunneochi State constituency, Hon Nwachi Umeh has continued to receive commendation from stakeholders and indigenes of the are.
In a letter to the state Legislator, a Stakeholder and community leader in the area, Engineer Oluchukwu Uzor described the initiative as a testament to commitment and dedication towards the development and well-being of our LGA.
Taking a cue from the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Engineer Uzor pointed out that “Constituency Projects are critical to national development as they are one of the means by which the Federal Government intends to take development to every part of the country through the active involvement of the Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members of the National Assembly.”
“By extension, I believe that the same applies at the state level, and I appreciate your transparent approach to setting up a medium for managing the projects. Kudos”, he stated.
According to him the creation of this committee marks a significant step towards more organised and impactful constituency projects, which will undoubtedly benefit the citizens and residents of Umunneochi LGA.
He further lauded the Honourable Commissioner for Lands, Chaka Chukwumerije, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Umunneochi LGA, and all the key stakeholders who attended the event for their invaluable support in this endeavour.
The community Leader particularly appreciated the Hon Commissioner’s allusion to “unity of purpose and result-oriented” and the Hon House member’s comment on “Governor Otti’s quality.”
Engineer Uzor further enjoined the progenitor of Umunneochi Constituency project committee to work closely with the Umunneochi Mayor and team to identify critical areas of improvement within the Umunneochi Development Plan (UDP), which I led 18 other notable Umunneochi professionals at home and in the diaspora to craft for our LGA.
He noted that by aligning the committee’s efforts with the broader development goals of our LGA, we can enhance the effectiveness and reach of the projects supported by the Honourable Member.
“As you embark on this mission, remember this: Proper project management framework (processes) and communication are essential to ensuring quality project delivery—consistently letting people know what is going on, when, and where. Together, through strategic collaboration and dedicated effort, we can drive meaningful progress and create lasting positive change for all the citizens and residents of Umunneochi,” he observed.
