Following the directive of Abia state Governor, Dr Alex Otti that the current Acting Director General of the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia state, Mrs Esther Agu Anyanwu, proceed on compulsory retirement, with effect from this Wednesday, 31/7/24, a new Acting Director General has been appointed.
A document available to Hanto Daily News says Governor Otti has to this end approved that Francis Obinna Nwaubani of the News and Current Affairs Department who came first in the recent examination taken to ascertain the occupier of the office of Director General be the new helmsman.
According to the release, the outgoing Acting DG has been directed to handover to Mr Nwaubani who beat both Directors and Deputy Directors that sat for the exam.
