It was a special day for the celebration of Grace as Adorers and Adherents of Canaanland Counselling Centre, A. K. A. E Dey Work, gathered at Umuoma Onicha Ezinihitte, Mbaise, Imo State to celebrate the birthday of the Spiritual Director of the Commission, Rev. Fr. Dr. Magnus Ebere, SDV, as he added one eventful year to his adorable life.
The event which was entirely sponsored by a group of Adorers led by the International President, Men of Honour of the Ministry, Sir Surveyor Reginald Odunze attracted thousands of Adorers and Well wishers who thronged the venue in a joyful mood.
Speaking on the occasion,Rev. Fr. Dr.Ebere popularly known as Fr. E Dey Work thanked the organizers for honouring him this way and prayed God to keep blessing them
In sermon to mark the ceremony, Fr. E Dey Work charged Christians to always seek Grace in order to succeed in their endeavors.
The outspoken Priest who attributed his attainments in the Ministry despite incessant attacks from all corners noted that it was only God’s Grace that enabled him to overcome the storms.
He however made it clear that such a Grace could be attained by connecting oneself to the Grace of a Prophet of God just like the Grace of Elijah saw Elisha through.
Fr. E Dey who revealed that Rev. Fr. Mario David Dibia remains his Father in the Lord whose Grace he is connected to noted that no clergyman can do exploits in the Lord without connecting to such a higher Grace.
According to him ” There must be a higher Grace you connect yourself to being successful in your endeavors. The Grace of the person you are connected to will always save in times of challenges”.
He warned people against fighting one surrounded by Grace and reminded such plotters that disgrace will always be their portion.
“If you fight Grace, disgrace will follow you. Do not fight Grace to avoid failure disgrace and shame. If you follow Grace, you will go far in life”, the Catholic Priest assured.
In his speech on behalf of the organizers, Sir Reginald Odunze noted that the event is way of acknowledging the work Fr. E Dey Work is doing in the Christendom.
Describing the Catholic Priest as the Battle Axe of the Lord and the Tormentor of the kingdoms of darkness, Sir Odunze pointed out that the Counselling Centre has been used to bless families and save souls.
He congratulated him on his birthday and thanked all who contributed to make the occasion a huge success.
