The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, has directed for all DPOs, Area Commanders, and Tactical Commanders in the state to draft actionable crime-reduction plans tailored to their jurisdictions, with submission timelines for review and implementation.
CP Isa who gave the during the first strategic meeting of the year with Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and Tactical Commanders expressed appreciation for the officers’ dedication in 2024 and encouraged them to build on their efforts for a more impactful 2025.
He reminded them of the key directives from the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), on issues such as corruption, extortion, incivility towards the public, and the need for proper supervision of junior officers.
CP Isa used the meeting to review the successes of existing strategies aimed at reducing crime and curbing unprofessional conduct among officers, discuss Progress reports from the CP’s monitoring team along with the introduction of the Mutual Accountability Scorecard by the Police Public Relations Officer, a tool designed to enhance transparency and accountability within the command.
