As the 2nd of November, 2024 Local Government election draws closer, the Labour Party Chairmanship candidate for Umunneochi LGA, Rt. Hon. Prince Oguejiofor Okoli has expressed joy that his name is amongst those cleared by Abia State Independent Electoral Commission, ABSIEC, for the Poll.
In a release he personally endorsed, Rt. Hon. Okoli described the development as positive, pointing out that as the ruling party in Abia, there is no doubt that the people will still embrace the party’s candidates.
He therefore called on the people of Umunneochi to vote massively for him, recalling that his achievements while he served as the council’s leader stands tall.
Also reacting, the PDP Councillorship Candidate for Leru / Lekwesi Ward, Stephen Udeogu thanked that he has bee
n formerly cleared by ABSIEC to fly the party’s flag in the contest
Mr. Udeogu who expressed confidence that he has all it takes to be victorious appealed to the people of Leru and Lekwesi to vote for him, assuring that he would not disappoint them.
