The Labour party Chairmanship Candidate for Umunneochi in the just concluded Abia Local Government elections, Prince Oguejiofor Okoli and his Deputy, Hon Tobias Egeonu have assured their supporters that they are going to recover their mandate.
In a release, the Duo who were defeated by the Zenith Labour party Candidates, pointed out that they are going to challenge the qualification of the returned candidates in the poll, expressing confidence that victory will be theirs.
The LP Candidates described as quite disheartening the role allegedly played by the electoral umpire, ABSIEC in what they termed “subverting the wishes of the people, claiming that in practice LP won the election.
They however expressed appreciation to the people of Umunneochi for the support for Labour Party during the polls and assured them of reversing the declared result.
