As Abians and political analysts await the forma reaction to the claim by the Deputy Speaker House of Representatives Abuja Representatives, Chief Benjamin Okezie that APC to take over reigns of Abia State in 2027 from the ruling Labour party, an activist an Ex International Boxer, Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo has assured the Speaker that his dream will not materialize.
Mazi Okoronkwo in a release, reminded Chief Kalu that it is only the people that determine who govern them and not the political party, adding that what matters in state election is the capacity of candidates and not the political party.
Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo who is Abia State Sports Ambassador, Boxing, called on politicians at National level not to be over excited because of their relationship with the sitting president, Bola Tinubu and made it clear that Nigerians are wiser now.
“Even in next general election, no one can predict the party that will win the presidential election because Nigerians are wiser now”, he noted.
He therefore urged those trying to heat up the system to be guided for the interest of peace and unity of the, the State, Country and Democracy
