As reactions continue to trail the claim by the Deputy Speaker House of Reps, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu that APC will take over Abia come 2027, the Senior Special Adviser to the Abia State Governor on Due Process and Public Procurement, Dr Oluebube Chukwu, has described the Statement as lacking in substance and a mere propaganda.
Speaking with Journalists in Umuahia, Chukwu who noted that the people of Abia have spoken loud and clear that their choice is the Labour Party emphasized the Labour Party’s dominance in the state and made it clear that Abians will vote LP again and again since the party has delivered on its promises.
“Abians will vote LP again and again because we have delivered on our promises and have shown that we truly care for the welfare of our people”, he boasted.
Dr Chukwu described the Deputy Speaker’s claim that Governor Alex Otti would be the last that the Labour Party would produce as the Governor of Abia, as unfounded, adding that the LP’s achievements in the state within the past 15 month are worthy of commendation.
According to him, “The people of Abia are not foolish, they know what they want and they have chosen LP as their preferred party. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that their trust in us is not misplaced.
“It is clear that the Labour Party in Abia State is confident of its chances in future elections and is ready to face whatever challenges come its way”.
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, had in a trending video, vowed to deliver Abia to APC come 2027 gubernatorial election.
