As prominent politicians in Abia state continue to readjust in preparation for future elections, Chief Ebere Nwankwo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, candidate for the Umunneochi State Constituency in the 2023 elections, Chief Ebere Nwankwo has formally resigned from the party.
In a letter addressed to the APGA Ward Chairman of Lokpaukwu Ward, Umunneochi Local Government Area, Chief Nwankwo expressed appreciation to the party for the goodwill shown him as well as the opportunities enjoyed during his period in All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The Lokpaukwu Umuchieze born popular politician showered encomium on the leadership of APGA for their support during his candidacy in the last election.
With the resignation of Chief Nwankwo, the political there are indications that political permutations in Umunneochi LGA for the upcoming elections is becoming more unpredictable as some notable members of different political parties have been engaging in alignment and realignment.
